F.A.Q.'s
(Frequently Asked Questions)

  • What is the difference between St. Vincent DePaul Parish and Vincent's Community Outreach?

St. Vincent DePaul Parish is a Roman Catholic Church that has served the poor in South St. Louis city for over 175 years. Through “social ministries funding” & various volunteer programs, the people of St Vincent DePaul Church provided the needed support & service to both individuals & neighborhoods struggling with poverty & homelessness.

Vincent's Community Outreach (VCO) was launched in 2012 to support individuals of all faiths & backgrounds to the mission of providing community outreach services & programs. Although a relatively young non-profit organization, its mission & values are deeply rooted, embedded, & derived from “social ministries funding” & operations dating back 175 years. Vincent’s Community Outreach operates as a 501 c3 non-profit organization. The VCO relies on the generous donations, gifts in kind, grants, staff & volunteers to deliver meals, food pantry, & lunch window services in St. Louis, MO.
